Apple Blossom Parade

Whew! What a busy weekend! Linus and I barley spent any time at home this past weekend. It seemed like we were always running from one thing to the next.
Every year there is a parade is a town near mine, Sebastapol, called the Apple Blossom parade. And every year my dance studio dances in the parade. The route is about 3 miles of strait dancing in the sun the whole way. Luckily Linus got to ride a long in my mom's purse so he did not suffer the horrible blisters that I did. The picture was taken right after I finished the parade hence the red face.

As a treat, we went to Screamin' Mimi's for ice cream. That place has the best ice cream, hands down. Linus sampled some of their rose ice cream (it tastes the way roses smell!) and shared my order. Strawberry rose, mango and raspberry sorbet in a waffle cone!

More pictures and adventures from this weekend to follow soon!

Meet Linus!

Professor Linus is a penguin visiting California as part of the Little visitor swap on crastster. This is his second little visitor swap, having already visited New Mexico last round. He arrived here from his home in Massachusetts about a week ago.
